Obituary of Yemoh Tetteh Anang

Yemoh Tetteh Anang (fondly known as Jr) was born July 27, 1984 in Accra Ghana and fell asleep March 21, 2022. Jr was the only child to his parents Thomas Annan and Kukua Dzanie. He was not just an only child but a favorite child. In his youth he was surrounded by cousins, aunts and uncles that always appreciated his catching smile. He was always close to his grandmother Eugenia, who he lovingly called Esa. Jr loved soccer and most days, could be found running the streets with his buddy Jonnie, looking for a soccer field and enjoying life. He attended school at St. Thomas in LA and then Datus. There he made many friends, many of who he stayed in touch with all his life. He moved to the states as a young man and there he navigated as one does a new place, both with excitement and trepidation. He always remained close to his parents, he made friends easily and he smiled often. Jr fell asleep in death on Monday March 21, 2022 with his father by his side. A fitting place to rest for a while. Jr was a christian and believed in the bible. He may not have known all of the versus but believed God created all things and cared for him personally. He also knew God was aware of the world's troubles and would one day solve them at the right time. He is survived by his mother Kukua and father Thomas, and step sister Yemoteley. A host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends that will miss him greatly. He has left a huge hole in our hearts but we have hope that he is remembered by his Creator and will one day rise again in a resurrection promised by Jesus. The Annan family would like to thank you all for your prayers and support during this difficult time.
